The Epic Fund

The Epic Fund (dba the Income Fund) was launched in June 2006 to provide investors with a unique product: an equity fund that pays a fixed 6% dividend (0.5% monthly). The strategy has worked well, with strong relative and absolute outperformance since inception.

The flexible mandate gives investors exposure across the capital structure, from traded debt to equity to hybrid investments, while maintaining a high degree of liquidity.

Capital preservation and risk management are key elements to the fund strategy. Various strategies such as index hedging, short-selling, and merger arbitrage are used to mitigate risks without taking away the upside.
