Composite performance data represents actual performance returns of a client that invested in Epic LP II, rolled their money into Epic Income Fund in December 2008 and into Epic Canadian Long/Short Opportunistic Fund LP in June 2009. Investment strategies and objectives of Epic Income Fund differ materially from investment strategies and objectives of Epic LP II and Epic Opportunistic Fund with respect to risk profile and emphasis on capital appreciation.  Returns shown are asset-weighted returns of an individual portfolio.

Cumulative performance includes: i) the performance of Epic LP II for the period December 2002 to October 2008; ii) ~89.4% of October 2008 NAV returned in four tranches; iii) 100% of available proceeds from wind-up reinvested in Epic Income Fund; iii) the performance of Epic Income Fund for the period December 2008 to May 2009; iv) 100% of Epic Income Fund investment rolled into Epic Canadian Long/Short Opportunistic Fund LP on June 1, 2009 inception. Returns are stated net of all fees, assume distributions received were not reinvested and include performance fee rebates. 2012 performance is unaudited. Past returns are not necessarily indicative of future performance.
